Anonymous visitors can publish Comments, Photos and Videos. You only need to register as a user to create Markers, News Items and Events, to submit with a username, to edit your content later on and to skip anti-spam measures.

Your email will not be shown anywhere on the site (only to you on your account page), unless you put it somewhere yourself. It will not be passed to any third party and will be used only for account issues and our newsletter.

You refrain from:

• creating more than one account
• creating map markers that are not publicly accessible to visit and/or don't have regular opening times (an exception is made for Boats)
• putting any offensive, adult or irrelevant content. This includes all text, images or videos not related to the map marker(s) the content is appended to. Just leave the marker field empty if your content is not related to any marker or you are not sure about the exact place.
• giving inaccurate or misleading information
• comparison with other Sharm businesses (avoid terms like the best, the cheapest, N°1, etc.)
• unfounded criticism (this is an info site). Moderate observations in the comments are allowed
• putting any material that may violate any applicable laws (e.g. copyright infringement).
• any action that imposes, or may impose, in our discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.

Any content as stated above will be removed or modified. Repeated abuse as mentioned here can result in a blocked account, though our policy is to be very reluctant to do so. It's only a last measure and always temporary. We always assume good faith if there is the minimal doubt an "bad" edit is made unintentionally.
Map markers, info posts, photos and videos may contain advertisement related to your business, but without comparison (see above). Comments may not contain any information referring to other businesses than the direct related one.

You agree to any text or image content you submit to be licensed under Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported. This means anybody can use the content as long as they provide a back-link to the map marker page the content is appended to. In non-internet publications the relative URL (website address) must be mentioned clearly straight before or after the content. In audiovisual work both spoken and written.

We reserve the right to edit content without any notice. In practice this happens only to enhance text, e.g. grammar corrections.

You agree to any information you have entered being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. You yourself refrain from any hacking attempt.

This system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. They do not contain personal information but act as a key to retrieve the information stored on the server.

• providing instructions for a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or that would otherwise create liability or violate any local, state, national or international law, including, without limitation;
• that may infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party;
• that impersonates any person or entity or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity, including SharmWeb.net;
• that consists of unsolicited promotions, political campaigning, advertising, contests, raffles, or solicitations;
• that provides private data of any third party, including, without limitation, surname (family name) addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, Social Security numbers and credit card numbers;
• that contains viruses, corrupted data or other harmful, disruptive or destructive files;
• that is unrelated to the topic of the Interactive Area(s) in which such Content is posted;
• or links to content that violates the previous subsections herein.
   

You can make a request to alter or remove content through the "contact" in the footer, but not in behalf of others. You yourself refrain of putting any content as stated above.
